Cummins' first diesel engine was used by farmers for powering pumps. Founded in 1919 by Clessie Cummins and W.G. Irwin, the Company is still located at the original site in Columbus, Indiana.

You'll review and potentially optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability and other relevant factors. You'll approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, review requisitions for goods and services, and oversee just-in-time delivery of inventory to the plants. You'll also evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
